Google Business Profile Data Drop: What Happened Between June 3–8?
Recently, I noticed something strange with a few of our Google Business Profiles. From June 3rd to June 8th, the interaction data was either showing 0 or had dropped way more than usual.
At first, I thought it might be an issue from our side. But after digging a little deeper, I found that a lot of other users are facing the same problem.
It’s being discussed across forums like Local Search Forum, Reddit, and even on Google’s official support page.
People are reporting that profile visits, calls, directions, and other interactions just disappeared during that time. Even when tools like BrightLocal showed normal growth, GBP reports didn’t reflect anything.
This looks like a reporting glitch on Google’s end; nothing to panic about if you’re seeing low numbers for that week.
If you manage GBP for any business, I’d recommend checking the performance insights from June 3–8. It’s not just you, this issue seems to be affecting many accounts.
